These are inspired by Patti Jinich. They are very simple to make as long as you have the meat.
— | Ciabatta or other flatish bread |
— | Refried beans |
— | Cooked meat (cochinita pibil, tasajo, seasoned chicken, etc.) |
— | Onion, white, thin-sliced |
— | Oaxaca cheese |
— | Tomato thinly sliced |
— | Guacamole |
— | Lettuce (or spinach) |
1. Slice bread open.
2. Toast under broiler until warmed or browned.
3. Spread refried beans on bottom half.
4. Place meat, shredded cheese, sliced tomatoes and guacamole.
5. Place lettuce.
6. Close the bread.
