2 cups | all-purpose flour | |
2 tbsp | sugar | |
1 tsp | baking powder | |
½ tsp | salt | |
1¼+ cups | heavy cream |
1. Preheat oven to 450°.
2. Mix dry ingredients first, then add cream. Add more cream until right consistency is reached—like a baby’s bottom (or bread dough). Press into a 9" cake pan, dump out then cut biscuits. Gather waste and press out to same thickness to recut the rest.
3. Bake 15 minutes at 450° until light golden; turn 180° halfway through. Note: Take them out a little underdone because they will continue to cook inside. This avoids them drying out.
