| — | Flank steak about 1" thick | |
| — | olive oil | |
| — | julienned leek |
Marinate the flank steak uncut overnight.
Prepare ginger syrup by reducing ingredients to 40%.
Cut flank steak into very thin slices.
Sauté small amounts of flank steak (one or two persons’ worth) at a time in wok. Leave them between rare and medium. Remove.
Lightly sauté julienned leek.
Add in ginger syrup.
Add beef back in for less than a minute.
Plate.
